For the Integrative GP service Dr Lisa works with people on a broad range of illnesses and complaints, but cannot offer urgent medical services nor after-hour care as she works part-time as an Integrative GP. Access to after-hours health care For Medicare bulk-billed urgent care and after hours care, open 8am - 8pm 7 days a week, please attend Coffs Harbour Urgent Care Clinic. Additional after-hours bulk-billed care is provided by the ‘National Home Doctor Service’ which can be contacted on 13 7425 open weeknights 6:00pm to 8:00am, weekends from 12 noon Saturday, all day Sunday and Public Holidays.
In emergency situations call 000 or attend Bellingen hospital or Coffs Harbour hospital Emergency Departments.
For the Integrative Palliative Care service Dr Lisa does provide in and after-hours integrative palliative care service with an on-call service provided seven days as week. Please request palliative care services and assessment directly via our Contact Us page rather than booking on-line. We will then contact you directly to arrange an initial appointment as soon as possible to assess the integrative services needed. We can arrange home or residential aged care facility visits. For collaborative integrative multi-disciplinary care Dr Lisa refers to the local practitioners in the Palliative Care Circle to form a coordinated care plan for the patient and family/carers. Dr Lisa also refers to the Mid-North Coast specialist palliative care community service and local palliative care specialists if needed.
Payment When you book an appointment you will be asked to provide credit card information. A holding fee will be retained for 7 days when you book for the 60 minute and 90 minute consults, $100 and $150 respectively at the time of booking these extended appointments. Note this holding fee is not a deposit, so the full fee will be charged after the consult. For all appointments your credit card will not be charged until the visit has been completed. You will automatically be emailed a receipt when the payment is processed. We will transmit your payment to Medicare. Medicare reimburses you the nominated rebate amount which is set by Medicare. Medicare requires the full private fee to paid before it will reimburse the patient’s rebate.
Concession rates are available to concession card holders as we do not provide bulk billing. You must present a valid concession card during the appointment for the full priced rate to be changed to the concession rate. Concession cards accepted are those held by disability pensioners, aged pensioners and all other government issued pension cards, healthcare cards and children of healthcare card holders. In order to obtain a concession rate, book a full priced appointment on the on-line booking platform, then present your card during the appointment and a concession rate will be applied.
Appointments It is important to note that Medicare necessitates an annual face-to-face appointment to qualify for telehealth/telephone rebates, should they be required. While in-person consultations are preferred, telephone and telehealth video options are available for on-going and follow-up care as needed.
All initial appointments are conducted face-to-face. These sessions are of an extended duration to ensure a comprehensive understanding of your health needs and to establish a holistic approach to your care.
After booking, a link will be sent to you via Automed to fill in and submit on-line a patient registration form.
For all new patients, or if you have not seen Dr Lisa at this practice in the last 12 months, please additionally complete the comprehensive New Patient Integrative Questionnaire via a link that will be sent 7 days prior to your appointment.
